The Mallinckrodt Grant Program (not to be confused with the Mallinckrodt Scholars Program) through the Edward Mallinckrodt Jr. Foundation, is a competitive funding opportunity designed to provide faculty members who hold M.D. and/or Ph.D. degrees, and are in their first to fourth year of a tenure-track position and do not have current R01 funding, with start-up support. The grant provides $75,000 annually for a period of up to three years. No indirect costs are allowed.

An internal competition will be held to assign the single slot. Interested investigators should submit a 1-2 page summary of their proposed project and Biosketch in NIH format by 5 p.m. on June 24, 2024. Please submit documents through SLU's OpenWater portal at the following link:

Investigators will be notified of their results by July 1,2024, barring any unforeseen circumstances. If selected, the full proposal deadline is August 1, 2024.
